Hello.

I am looking for recommendations for a maker who can do leather covered Kydex.

I have a SOG Team Leader that I use a lot in the field (and a few back-ups too) and would like a slim leather covered kydex sheath set up for belt carry.

Thanks!

there's martin swinkles, the 710 custom sheaths and bear hug holsters.

Its always best to support those craftsmen who support Blade Forums. Martin Swinkles is a banned member, end of story.

I do know that there is at least one member who does the molded kydex/leather sheaths and has a current craftsman membership. I'll see what I can search out.

A short search has confirmed the 710 as a good candidate. :) He is in the sticky above to see some of his work.

I want to think there was another though. We'll see what I can find.

I do a light leather outer with a kydex liner sheath. Thanks adodge for remembering! The sheath can be made to use with several different knives if they are somewhat similar in size and shape. I'm just completing a 5 knife set and have a large Swamp rat waiting. The standard set includes two quick change carry styles and other options are available. If anyone has questions, send a pm or email at: ruger315@charter.net
Thanks,
Rick
