Recommendation for vfd

I was wondering if someone can help select the right vfd for a baldor vm5558. 2hp 3phase 208,230,460v,1735 rpm . I think a kbac24d will work just want to make sure

The 24 model is only rated for a 1hp motor, I would step up to the next model for your 2hp motor. Running a larger motor might draw too much current and shorten the life of the VFD.

Since this is the maint forum, what's your reason for selecting such a powerful motor? 2-3hp is knife maker grinder territory. 1/2 or even 1/4hp would be fine for sharpening duty.
