Hello,

A good friend is a HUGE fan of orange on his knives. He has a Ritter Mini-Grip, but has wanted something new and nice for a while. Ultimately I would love to find a nicer folder in the 3-4" blade size with Orange G-10 handles to get him as a gift. He has always wanted something like this but would never get for himself. He is celebrating a military anniversary and will soon be getting engaged so I would like to do this for him.

Nothing too expensive, nor cheap. He is a big proponent of buying American, but I understand the limitations. Can anyone help me find what I should get him?

Thanks!

Here are some ideas...

- You could get a regular orange-handled full sized Griptilian or get one and replace the scales with G10 ones (e.g. Allen Putnam scales are $75)

- The Benchmade 915 Triage is a solid rescue knife and has an orange-scaled G10 model and sells for about $150.

- EESE and other makers have several orange G10 handled fixed blades.

Just go to any of the big online knife retailers and do a search for "orange" and I'm sure you'll see plenty of options.

I would hunt down a Kershaw Tyrade Orange with composite blade. Its a larger knife in your range and very limited to only few hundred models made. I know where you can find one if interested but it will run few hundred bucks lol

Spyderco's Endura comes in orange.
