looking for a pancake style sheath... something suitable for lashing to molle

thanks guys

azwelke does a nice job, but do search for your own personal choice. we have a lot of pictures here too.

Godspeed did awesome work on mine. I just discovered that my BK10 fits nicely in there, too. :D

I was lucky enough to win a sheath from both GODSPEED! and Azwelke. Both of them gave me a great product and great customer service even though I didn't give them a cent. Based on this I am planning on spending my hard earned money with both of these sheath makers in the future.

Thanks for the recommendation guy's, I really appreciate it. Pictures look great mrn8!

BePrepared,
If you're mounting it to molle webbing you'll probably want a pancake sheath which gives you eyelets on both sides of the knife to help in securing. Lashing to molle webbing will work fine but the standard attachment for this application is a "Molle-Lok" which looks like this:

S9fXY9UHnNifwmUzcTpwTJ2wuqELFxnXYWQIIq0ag1V6mwXL0IHAThY4qtG8Mp6I2MQWEpuDjPjW83g60gGkpwmlKXoXt3qMA__Oytr87bviaby1Te8ryMznSMsDMUNwtCsjXA_LXKBXiHUZbRhzL7DmMCY9DkuC

All of my sheaths are drilled for this pattern (pretty standard setup) which also applies to Tek-Loks (hole pattern).

I've got a coupe of pics of Becker Knives/Sheaths attached to packs but anything that's not attached to a pack in the pictures can still be attached using Molle-Loks. I also use webbing w/ITW Nexus hardware depending on the molle setup, rows, length, height etc. and I make Kydex loops which go across the front of a sheath that a retention strap can pass through to hold it in place. Blah blah blah.......here's some pics....

mrn8's sheath w/piggy-backed BK14 and Acc. Pouch (Pouch-Sheath):

Similar setup mounted to a Maxpedition Falcon II pack:

BK9 w/BK14 Piggy-back Pouch-Sheath:

Modified BK9 w/pouch attachment, now has two pouches stacked mounted to Spec-Ops pack: (Modified by Haze)

Hope this helps,

+1 onGodspeed. I have his multi use machete sheath and my BK9 fits in there as well. I have it strapped to my Falcon II and can interchange between a 12" Ontario and my BK9 in seconds. I plan on a write up if I get time.
