If you know of a maker who can make something like this, please let me know.

Thanks!

If you know how to tie a 'square knot' (Reef Knot) (Remember; left over right, right over left?) than it will take you about 5 minutes to learn HOW to tie this, and about 10 minutes for you to make your own D-guard with the results. Just notice that each overhand goes from front to back or back to front, over and over again. That's the key.

Here are three different YouTube videos to show you how. If those don't do it for you, look for 'tying a paracord survival bracelet' and watch some more. The results look like it's difficult. The actual tying is nothing more than left over right, right over left.

The D handle looks like a what is called a snake knot. Here's a how to link: http://www.itstactical.com/skillcom/knots/knot-of-the-week-snake-knot/

It is an easy knot to learn. I've done one with black and blue paracord and it is a nice color combination.

The great thing about learning these knots, it will permit you to make your own customized lanyards etc.

I made a simple chain stitch lanyard for my SAK with a simple chain stitch, so I could easily untie it and have a useable piece of paracord to use. A couple days later I actually had to use it to fix someone's suitcase strap.
