Hi everyone,
I am looking for a new blade, my max is about $85 and so the two I have found that I am really trying to choose from are the manix 2 lightweight($68) or the zt 350 blem ($85). I have read extensively about all the specs and I don't mind assisted opening. Right now my favorite is a bm 556 mini grip, however, I am looking for something about the same size or a bit larger.
Which one should I choose? I know the pm2 is $110 but I don't want to make a preorder so that it pretty much out even though I have heard amazing things about it.
Thanks in advance

Ohh and it won't be used much, it will be more of a backup or a knife for when I go somewhere with a lot of forests etc...

Two good choices there, I don't own the ZT but I have the lightweight blue Manix 2. The blade has good corrosion resistance and is easy to resharpen, plus the blade leaf shape is very usefull IMHO. The Manix would field the "slicer" role and a back up blade pretty well.

^i look into the jyd 2 and I just don't really like the design that much.
And I do really like the manix 2, I just don't know if there are better options in that price range. However, I am leaning towards the manix 2.

How much do you care about weight? Personally, I would go for the ZT, but it weighs almost double what the Manix does. If you're looking for something larger and tougher a Cold Steel Recon 1 or Voyager might fit the bill, for hgher end steel the Speedform 2 would work or if you want a wicked slicer maybe a Spyderco Stretch.

I'll echo the JYDII in the composite 13C26/D2 blade steel. It's a large, but practical blade, that has really good steel and will even get remarks from non-knife people. The ergonomics are really good as well. The lack of a thumb stud turns a lot of people off, but the flipper is more than serviceable.
