My father recently visited my home and was impressed by my survival bags. It surprised me how interested he was in the contents of my survival tin (on my esee 5), my mid size bug-out-bag (back-pack) and my full size survival duffel bags. This got me thinking that a mid-size B.O.B. would make a great Christmas gift for him.
My survival gear is mostly organized for wilderness and urban survival. However, my father lives on the East Coast... actually right on the beach. They are often dealing with strong storms, hurricanes and the harsh sea that follows. This raises concerns and situations that I don't have to deal w/ where I live.
That is why I am turning to you guys for HELP. I plan on simplifying the items I store so that I can fit some ocean front specific survival tools for him. I would love some ideas for B.O.B. items to include that are specific to ocean front survival. Thanks in advance.
PS- Although he is getting older, slower and a little rusty... I am confident that his knowledge, strength and needed mindset is still there. He is a Vietnam Vet and retired LE. Thanks again.
