I am wanting to add a piggyback knife onto my Top BOB that I use hiking. I do a lot of camping and fishing and want to add a small piggyback onto it so I have both knives on the sheath. I would like the knife to be able to skin/clean fish with but also be as much edc/utility as possible. Figured I'd ask the experts here. I appreciate any and all advice!

Without more information (size, price, steel preference, etc), I'll start with the Bradford Guardian 3... then quickly add a Dozier Modified Personal, an LT Wright Patriot, an REK Ember, and a Bark River Mini Fox River
My Bradford G3, which I have been carrying with the REK Quarantine

I would prefer some corrosion resistance as I live in the humid south but I'm open minded. Size I want a 2-3 inch blade preferable that I can easily get onto my sheath. Price range is under $200 preferably. Thanks so much for the help!

The pictured G3 is M390, the Patriot and Mini Fox River are available in several steels, including stainless/semi-stainless, the Dozier is, of course, D2...but it's a little above the $200 mark, unless you find a deal on the secondary market

If you can stretch your budget just a bit, the REK ember in M390 is exactly what you are looking for.

You could check out the Esee izula, It runs around the $70 dollar mark in 1095. I think they are coming out with an S35V version though. Not totally sure on the price point of that. Bark River makes several smaller blades they would be worth checking out in my opinion. Also if you are interested, I have a custom S35V blade I am trying to sell. You can see it at the link in my signature below if you are interested. :)

Hear are some of the Bark Rivers I was thinking of. Bark river has the Ring tail, Little creek, mini fox river, and the pro scappel II. Most of those are in CPM Cru-Wear or CPM 154.
