I want to get some nice very dark hardwood scales for my 9. Any recommendations out there ? Pics would of course be more than welcome :)

Cocobolo, or anything else naturally oily.

If you make your own, I say go with Arizona Desert Ironwood. It's naturally stable.

i've seen tommythewho have some nice Cocobolo and India Rosewood for sale on the bay. dark and very nice.

I'd be working on some walnut ones I've already started if I could get my effed up back off the couch.....vicodin is making me sleepy. All the above suggestions are great. Or some curly maple dyed whatever color you want. For real life interesting color and figure you could go with black palm....

Thanks guys !! Ill check all options put and of course, post pics when done or delivered !

check on ebay tommy the who has some nice sets there now. I have purchased two sets form him and I am thinking really hard about buying more as they are very well made and a great compliment to the becker knives. The ones on the bk 9 are katalox and the bk10 are blood wood...both look and feel great.
