Recommendation sought for a good knifemaker to repair custom

Hi,
I have a rather crude custom (Gary Hicks) which needs work, but Mr. Hicks seems to have vanished (probably for the good of all based on a recent search involving his name).
Can anyone recommend a good knifemaker who won't take a year to do some minor repairs?
What my knife needs is a new liner lock.

Most makers will not get involved with a knife thats not his own. It may be only a minor thing you need done or it may take more time to fix it than to make an entirely new knife. Makers have all the problems they need with their own knives so I doubt you'll get any response.
