I feel like as soon as i post this i'll either find another thread covering this same topic, or i'll find something elsewhere but here it goes; I've been searching for a sheath similar in design to the Lost Mountain Iron Works sheaths with the kydex inserts and large buckled pockets for storing some of the commodities. this sheath will (hopefully) be replacing the stock sheath of an ESEE junglas.

There's alot of people looking for a setup like that and I haven't seen any Nylon/Cordura stuff that would take it's place yet. That said.... I get alot of request and make alot of sheaths that I mount pouches to. One of my designs I call my Pouch-Sheath uses a pouch on the front.... they were only for factory sheaths of medium knives before and I make them for everything now... lil knives and machetes. Here's an example of my work:

This is my Universal Machete Sheath Design and one of the knives I tried for fit was the Junglas:

I can mount them either as pouches or as pouch-sheaths with a smaller knife in them.

Here's an example of one I make for the smaller knives:

Hadn't seen it done before so I came out with the idea on the ESEE forum and people really like them so far.

If you're interested in a setup like any of the above for your Junglas just click the link below my post. Hope this helps.

8,

Those look pretty nice, the pouch is a really good size and looks big enough for a "complete" kit. You posted that you were hoping they wouldn't fall apart..... how'd they hold up?

K,

I recognize the handle as JK knives (nice knife) which model was it? I've got some pics I'll post up later of a Bush Operator that I just finished and I think it came out really nice.

I'm glad your sheath (w/pouch) doesn't pre-date mine but I've got a question..... it doesn't look like the pouch is actually attached to the sheath, did you just put in on top for customer/option pics? I mean just lay it on top and take a pic. I've always liked the mix of colors on your sheaths too.
