I've recently got into higher end knives is there any place that offer the hinderer xm -18 at factory price

Knife Shows like the upcoming Blade Show. But it's a lottery system so luck factors into the mix.

Simple answer is No, they cannot be found for MSRP outside of qualifying direct orders and luck at a Show.

Secondary market prices have come down quite a bit over the past year or so. Keep your eye on the exchange and you can find XMs at fairly reasonable prices. Good luck on your hunt. You picked a great knife to buy my friend.

I'll give the advice I've given a few times before. Grab an envelope and put a $20 bill in it. Then, add $20 to the envelope each week for a year...do the math...new quality knife of your choice in your hands this time next year...sooner if the envelope is fattened faster.

It's tough just being a general public secondary customer supporter (great knife though).....good luck with your saving!

Funny thing once you break the ice with your first Hinderer, the rest seem easier to acquire even without direct pricing. It is much easier to enter Hinderer ownership than it was two or three years ago. N2K has great advise about saving up, I started off with a trade and some manageable cash for my first. I traded that for what I wanted, then A deal popped up and snagged that one, then I won the lottery at Blade 2012 and landed my first custom and the rest is history.

Good luck with your pursuit, definitely worth the trip.
