Recommendations for a custom maker for a large stag bone handled Bowie knife

Any recommendations for a blade smith that can make a very high quality very large custom Bowie knife (12-14”blade ) with a full stag horn handle? I know there are some very talented blade smiths on this site. Anyone come to mind who would be good for this? Thanks

I had Tony Mont Tony Mont make mine for me a while back. It is an absolute beast. 9.5” blade and wip photos the whole way. It was a pleasure from beginning to end, and this thing is a tank. Makers pic because we all know my photo skills are terrible 😅

I’m actually asking for a friend and he just let me know that he is looking for a really big blade (12”-14”) with a full stag horn handle (not split). I’ll ask Tony Mont. Anyone else with recommendations?
 
Hopefully some guys will chime in with pics. I would also suggest perusing the makers for sale section to get a sense of what style you (he) like(s). There are a lot of great makers that make some really big, really beastly knives around here. This is my biggest, but certainly not my last.

Thread 'Bowie, 12" blade, 5160 steel and stag [SOLD]'

Forged from 5160 steel, 0,5" thick flat bar.
It's 9/32" thick at the touchmark with a nice distal taper, tapered tang, and it feels great in the hand.
Little bit of recurve.
Rounded heel for more comfortable grip.
Flats are left raw, soaked in vinegar and wire brushed after forging.
After heat treatment, flats are brushed with scotch brite.
Bevels are made in satin finish with scotch brite.
False edge is not sharpened.

Details:

Overall length - 17,5"
Blade length - 12"
Blade width - 2"
Thickness at the back of the spine -9/32"
Tang tapers to - 1/8"

Don't think he is on BF, but there is a local maker here who specializes in using local stag, if you are interested.

Hello everybody!

Enough years have passed and I'm eligible to test for my journeyman stamp with the American Bladesmith Society (also known as ABS). This thread is meant to be educational for everybody, also, it will be a fun experience to keep a record of the whole process.

Now, without further adieu, this is how everything began. My forging experience is limited and I'm still learning as I go along. I've forged knives in the past but that doesn't make me an expert.
