Recommendations for a knife like...

my old edge mark gold line? I really like its (scimitar?) blade style, but I do not want to use it because it was given to my grandfather by a friend in the 70's and to my dad in 90's, and to me last year, so I do not want to damage it. I will attach some pictures of it to this post. Is this a good knife? Do you have any recommendations for a knife like these? Thank you in advance for your answers.
