Recommendations for a modern style bowie for around $100-$150

Hi guys, one of my friends is looking for a fix blade for around 100 to 150 bucks, he is going to visit a friend in Mongolia and he wants to bring a knife as a present, he saw my cold steel recon scout and he really liked the bowie style blade, I'm not a fix blade guy so I don't really know how to call that style, let's just say modern bowie style, he wants something that has that kind of look and also has an uncoated stainless steel blade, made in USA is preferred but he doesn't want to spend over 150 bucks on it.
So here I am, hoping you fix blade experts can give us some suggestions, any input will be appreciated and also thanks for viewing.

Check out the Entrek Buffalo. It's stainless (440C), uncoated, USA made. They run right at the $140-150. I have an Entrek Companion and it is fantastic.
