Recommendations for a new knife?

Recently i purchased a Kershaw Leek knife with a damascus blade. I absolutely love this knife and so does my girlfriend, whose birthday is coming up in October and has heavily hinted that she would like a unique knife like that. Currently she has a Kershaw Volt SS and she loves its design, durability, and the assisted release. I am looking for something is the same area as that since she enjoys it so much, maybe something with a skinnier handle for her, but the same idea. Durability is important, as we both work at an aquarium store and sometimes our knives do get used with freshwater and sometimes saltwater, obviously we clean them after use but will need something that can withstand some abuse. Thank you guys for your help! I am new here so if i did something wrong in posting this feel free to let me know, and thank you all for your time!

Perhaps something from Mcusta fits the bill? Or a Kershaw Skyline Damascus?

Eli's suggestion is the way to go if this is going to be a work knife. If she really loves the Leek in the Damascus, why not go all out and order one up and have someone do some nice work on the scales? Plenty of guys on here would probably love to do some engraving or color treatment to make her a one of a kind. Just a thought...

Oh cool ill look into those! do you have any recommendations for what material i should look to have the blade made out of? not sure if thats a dumb question but i understand that our environment isnt exactly knife friendly so i would hope for it to be very resilient and resistant to rust. i heard Renaissance polish helps

Not entirely sure who you're directing that too Tanner but if it is me and my suggestion, then what I listed comes in H1 which for all intents and purposes is fully rust proof. The Carribean is made from LC200N which is almost as rust resistant as H1.

Lc200n
An exellent nitrogen stainless steel. Extremely corrosion resistant(never seen it rust in seawater) , good edge holding and takes a fine edge easily. Also quite tough.

Give her your Kershaw Leek knife with the damascus blade. She'll appreciate the thought.
