Recommendations for appraisers?

Hello sword friends,
Would anyone be able to recommend a person to whom I can send a sword to be appraised? I have a blade that has markings but has no hilt, handle or pommel, just a bare tang. I would like to restore this myself if it is advisable.. I just a trustworthy and knowledgeable person to send it to so if you have any recommendations would you please share?

I would suggest posting a few photos here to get initial feedback on your sword. The question comes down to whether the sword has collector value or whether the value is so trivial that it may as well be scrapped and used as raw material for your sword project.
