Recently I realized my collection was missing a titanium folder, so I've been searching for weeks looking for one that hits the spot. I've liked some models from Reate, ZT, WE, Bestech, Chaves, Kansept, and probably a few others I'm forgetting now, but haven't found the perfect one yet. I'm sure going up to a higher price point would make it simple, but I'm already waiting on a very expensive custom (unrelated) so I'd like to keep things in the mid-range for now.

Some qualities I would like:
* Frame lock
* Titanium on both sides
* Partial carbon/fat carbon inlays
* 3+ inch blade
* 4+ inch handle
* No recurve
* Flipper tab

Anything obvious come to mind?

Spartan is my first thought, but not a flipper; DPx makes one, a HEST with a flipper, just over 3", or a RYP Harsey Demo if you want a larger blade just shy of the 4" mark... both have solid Ti handles, no inserts though.
Lionsteel also makes a few Ti options, incl. the ROK Ti model and SR11.

If you are okay with something more budget-minded, the Kizer Clutch is a nice knife. The action on mine is great. The ergonomics are mostly excellent. (The edge of the inlay on mine was a little crisp where the lock-bar drops away from it. Lots of people won't even notice but I spent the two minutes or so to gently sand that section when I had the knife apart.) It retails at $165 but you can often find them down around $120-130 on sale if you look around.

Here it is on Kizer's website:

Here is a picture of mine in a tree from the EDC thread.

ZT 0562ti, you can probably find one $50 off retail on the exchange here, LNIB
Or a 0452ti, if you can find one
Or, even better, you could buy a Hinderer and add a titanium show scale later down the road….

I think I would raise my budget by 51 bucks, beg, borrow or steal the funds and pre-order the iMamba. IF I decide I cant live without a flipper on bairings it’s the only one I would consider. Well thats not true, a Laconico would be first but…

It'll be more than 51 because there's no way could I pass up on those beautiful inlays! Definitely considering one of those.

Also thinking about the WE Magnetron, Ochs Solarstorm, Reate T3500, and Cheburkov scout. I'm all over the place 😂

Viper or MKM, they offer both full Ti or carbon fiber options. Sweet knives, you can thank me later.

Twosun knives produces folders with handles that are milled from a single piece of titanium. Some have inlays, some are milled on the outside. Twosun calls them One Solid knives. They pop up pretty regularly on ebay as Twosun is pretty much direct marketing with few dealers, and you'd need to watch for them. Usually they sell around the $200 mark.

Kunwu Tao or Tao compact
Kunwu Pulsar

These are neat, especially in that a few of them run Vanax. I recently picked up an S-Tao but it has a little bit of lock rock. It's not the end of the world but at that price, I expect better. I contacted the company and they responded immediately. They are sending me a replacement and are covering the cost of me returning the one I got. I'm sure I'll post about it when I get the replacement.

ZT 0470, found this one LNIB for $220 added the SDK fat carbon insert, skiff bearings and an MXG deep carry clip, after the mods I think I had about $330 in it. Not into flippers anymore so I sold it but it carried well and had plenty of blade for what I need in an EDC.
