Just looking to add something else to the stable. Been on a thin "slicy" kick for a few months now.. looking for something in the .10 or .090 stock area. Maybe even thinner.

My daily 90% of the time is still the Neutron 2, I also already have an Atom, a Bugout, and a Nerd. Have done a little searching the major vendors, but most won't let you filter by blade width, only length. Would be much easier that way..

No real specific requirements. Between 3 and 4 inch blade, any lock type is a go. Thumb studs, "holes", and flippers are all good. Id say anything 14c28n or up. Gonna try to keep this one under $350ish.. possibly.

So what would yall recommend that I might not have thought about?

Kidding of course bud, already got a Bugout. Still considering geIMG_15032022_210231.jpgtting another 535-3 though..
Get it! They are a great little knife! 👍

I don't know anything about blade regrinds but if you find a $100-200 knife that is *somewhat* thin, say .118", you have room in the budget for a regrind. Krein comes to mind but there are plenty of other folks here at BF that could do it I'm sure. Again, knife mods/regrinds aren't in my budget usually.

Not sure how you feel about VG10 but it's .078".

Delica is .093 and comes in 20CV but is under 3".

+1 for the Chaparral, great gentlemanly 5th pocket knife especially in carbon fiber, but it feels full sized in hand, very thin blade. Get an Opinel, while you're at it, to have a light, thin, slicy, blade that is not very expensive.

Please please please get yourself a Spyderco stretch!!!!! G10ZDP if you can find one. I just posted this a while back. I have quite a few folders and use most of them. NOTHING slices like the Stretch my friend. ( My opinion of corse)

Easier to make a thin short blade than a longer one. If .118 still works for a 4" blade, I recommend the stretch 2XL.
