I'm in the market for a large clip point traditional with a bottle opener preferably with a fairly modern steel. I'd prefer it be under $200 so customs are out. I'm aware the bottle opener isnt exactly traditional, same with the modern steel. Just figured the BF fam may suggest something I've overlooked. I've been eyeballin a trestle pine topper, but haven't pulled the trigger. I already have a gec beer scout as well. let me know what ya'll think.

I have a Topper. It’s really nice but I prefer my GEC cap lifters. I do love the premium covers and the big clip.
I will say that while the covers are quality, the blade could have been finished a lot nicer. It’s not polished well and came with quite a few rub marks on it. It’s not a deal breaker but I think I’ll enjoy it more when I get around to getting a good edge on it and polished up.

Thanks for talking me into it....:D

That TP Topper is a beauty. Gonna put that on the list.
The Case mini trapper suggested is nice, I have two with the caplifter and clip, but the blade isn't what I'd call a large clip. It's thin / slender height-wise.
If Case offered a regular full-sized trapper with a caplifter that'd be a winner.
