Recommended Reading - Books

As I gather research and reading material I find I'm still lacking something for this knife maker or that one. There is a more reading material on Case than most of the others. I'd like a wider variety of material on folding knives. The well read who visit this site might be kind enough to make some suggestions.

Professor John D. Verhoven wrote Metallurgy of Steel for Bladesmiths & Others who Heat Treat and Forge Steel

He set it up as a free download. Here is an excerpt from the Forward:

You can Google the title and find a number of download sites. I did it a couple of years ago, printed out the book and had it bound at Office Depot.
