First let me say that I understand that many people sharpen their own knives however I just have had a serious health setback leaving me unable at least for the moment to do very much at all.

I have a couple Endura-4's in ZDP 189 and a few others that I am giving to my children and I'd like to do have them as close to perfect as I can.

Can someone make a recommendation?

Thanks!

OP Jason B. Does a freehand edge. Zdp and water stones are where it's at . Josh does Wicked edge sharpening ,I think he has water stones cut for his WE.

Personally I prefer a freehand edge . Just because of the slight convex you get with free handing they get a little sharper to me . Jason has skills no doubt about it he does all the Sharpening for some people don't wanna say any names in case it's not allowed .

Josh is good people too now . Maybe if you needed a regrind then I'd go razor edge . Just a sharpening well no need to repeat .
