Recon 1 aftermarket clips

I see a lot of these on Ebay (pic below)-
I've never owned one, so I can't vouch for them. If you do a search on Ebay for "Cold Steel Recon 1 clip" you'll find them. There is another type advertised, but from what I read they don't fit without modification (second pic).
This is the one I read won't fit without modification. But again, I have no personal experience with either model.
