If anybody saw it, i made a thread a little while ago asking how to strip the Tuff-Ex coating off of my Mini Recon 1. I ended up soaking it in Mineral Spirits (didn't do anything) and scraping it off. I showed pictures of it afterwards and people loved the look of it.

I was playing with my Recon 1 last night and decided.... I'm going to do the same. This time I didn't soak it, scrub it, or anything. I simply took a razor blade and scraped it off. Crazy, huh? The first time i did this i was concerned about scratching the blade. After some thought i realized that AUS-8A (Especially with the CS HT) is far harder than the crappy steel used in disposable razor blades, therefore it wouldn't scratch it much if at all.
Anyway, i figured I'd post the resulting beauty. I did this for the entire blade as well as the lock bar. I did not strip the clip because i like the look of clip wear a lot (which is weird considering i hate most blade wear [Well, it looks cool sometimes but eh..]).
