Recon 1 large,Voyager large,Talwar or medium Espada, which one is easiest to carry

Own a couple of recon 1s, a 4" talwar, and a large voyager clip point. Recon and large voyager carry much smaller than they look. The rough g10 on the recon and sharp cross pattern on the voyager plastic make the clip a pocket shredder and pocket holder. Without modifying they can be annoying if you don't like hard to get out of pocket issues.

I like the talwar the best though. ..but it doesn't carry easier in my pockets. It takes up more room.

I'll agree, the Recon 1 and Voyager are the easiest because their shapes are more normal. The talwar and espada's curvy bits have a tendency to take up more space. Additionally I'll say that the Recon carries a bit better than the Voyager since it is slimmer. It's also heavier than the voyager but i don't feel it too much in pocket.

my X2 voyager all but disappears when in pocket . I have worn for so long every day I don't even notice its their any more . New XL Voyager to thick and didn't make pocket carry Its in box in drawer. I have several of the old style . enough to last my life time any way.

I've got the new large voyager and a medium espada. The espada is shorter, but wider in the pocket...and it deploys easier due to the polished G10 scales, but it's also heavier. I like heavier since I like to know it's there, the voyager is quite light weight when compared to it's size, but the pattern on the scales sometimes make it nearly impossible to pull out without the aid of a lanyard.

I own an earlier Voyager Clip point 5", Recon 1 Spear point, and Talwar 5". Sold a Talwar 4", too small for my large hands to get a comfortable grip. IMHO the Voyager 5" (earlier version) is super light and VERY EASY to carry. The Recon 1 4" is wider and takes up a bit more room. But, since I have carried the Voyager on and off for 10 years the new carry piece is the Recon 1 XHP spear point. I made the change for the steel.
