Might be, but no real photo of the knife, but then the seller has great ratings.

well with 20 dollars bidding plus 25 dollars shipping and plus the bidding price might go up/

25.00 shipping on a 1lb package.what a crook !:barf:

As I understand it, eBay does not charge a commission on shipping, only on the selling price. A lot of offshore sellers and counterfeit sellers use this ploy. Even with a low starting bid, the high shipping fee means he's covered his costs.

This CS with a ~$50+ total price is possibly genuine. A folder advertised as Benchmade or Emmerson with the same price tag probably won't be

With the new one click bidding items can more than double in the last 10 seconds. Because you can fill you bid in and set there click once and bid imminently.
I watched a Spyderco go from 52 dollars to 113 in the last 12 seconds last night.

Alright I guess you guys were right, the final price doubled to around $50 bucks.

And the shipping is very expensive for just a knife.

Oh yeah, sorry to the mod, I didn't mean to break the rules!

Dyau,

If you really wanted that knife, why would you call attention to it?

If you wanted to find out the true value of the knife, without letting everyone know what a great deal it was, you could do a search on ebay of like items already sold. It is very simple.

If you were not sure if the knife was legit or not, check the seller more thoroughly on ebay as well.

Welcome to BF, sorry if I sound kinda stiff.:o

Hrm, sounds like something the seller would do doesnt it...

Ok, really, if I was a seller who already had well over 30 thousand sales of knives, why would I suddenly start advertising one of my knives on bladeforum?

@cj65: I actually have my eyes set in a griptilian but since I saw this was so much cheaper, and because I have read good reviews about it, I thought the small drop in quality would be worth the huge price difference. And thanks For the welcome! Don't worry about it! :)

Rough economy and multiple bans?

Just postulating. ;)
