Recon 1 Part Serrated, Fake?

I bought the knife on ebay. It is the clip point. It looks to have steel liners and it has the light blue box. It does not have the steel listed on the blade or box? Is this right? On the box it says spear point 50/50 edge. It has rough black g-10 scales. Any help would be appreciated.

The original models with the axis-style lock were offered with a combination edge. Is that what you're looking at?

You can ignore everything about the box, even if it's genuine, because it doesn't match the knife. The knife should have come with a box containing clip point identifiers, not spear point.

Did Cold Steel make a Recon 1 in clip point, with a partially serrated blade, without steel markings, with rough-textured G-10 handles? Yes.

Do you have a genuine Recon 1? Impossible to say without pictures. Even with pictures, it might be tough to determine. Your purchase was from eBay and the knife doesn't pair with the box. That's a recipe for fraud.

Hopefully, you received a real knife. If you are able to provide some photos, we can offer more information.

I was wonder why the knife did not have the type of steel listed on the blade. I think it is real.
