A friend of mine gave me a Cold Steel Recon 1 a couple of weeks ago. I said I always wanted a Tanto and He said here you are. What a guy! Anyway, the problem is that the Ultra Lock or locking mechanism comes loose as I open the blade and then push the lock to close the blade. It is a threaded shaft that runs through the knife with threaded caps on each end. these are pushed to unlock or close the blade. about five times and the two are unscrewed and comes apart. Have I made any sense whatsoever yet? I know someone must know what I'm talking about. thought about locktite. I would appreciate your advice on this. Maybe I should send it to Cold Steel but I am not the original owner. What are your thoughts.... DTSoll
