Plan on getting a Tanto & Clip Point Recon 1. For those who own both sizes, if you could only have one size, which would it be....which is more practical (you use the most). I originally wanted the mini cause I’m sure it is easier to carry, but now tempted to get standard size because of blade steel upgrade. I will only be purchasing one size. I still don’t mind the grivory handles and Aus10 on the Mini model. But was thinking larger size can handle tougher jobs (just wondering about larger size for edc, if it gets in the way), Thanks!

I have clip points, drop point, and tanto full sized ones. I prefer a larger blade myself. can do more tasks. I kinda prefer the tantos right now just cause. the drop point is probably the most useful shape overall for most tasks though.
I dont find the larger size a handicap at all in my uses. sometimes that extra blade length comes in handy. I dont have a mini and have no plans to add one. so can't comment on them.
