Recon Bowie and a somewhat newbie to the forum

I just purchased a Recon from Smoky Mountain Knife Works for $158.99. It's their web special.

I have been a member of this forum since 2003 but have not been active in posting to it. I searched the forum's archives for information relating to the Recon knife and found some good information and reviews / comments.

My thanks to everyone involved with this forum for the information.
 
GREAT CHOICE !!

The Recon Bowie is one of the coolest looking knives, no matter the maker. There is something so sleek and smooth.... perfect lines.

Mine right now is attached to my pistol belt. In a couple of days I'm heading out for a shooting day in the desert with some pals, and the Recon Bowie is the one which will be the user-of-choice for the day.
