Good Morning and Shalom, one and all,
I am interested in buying a Recon Bowie and after reading previous threads on this knife, I have some questions:
1. Is Ben Baker still alive?
2. I understand he wrote an article on the SOG Bowies several years ago, is this article still on the internet? (all the links I tried came up empty) if not, where may I find it?
3. Anything new about the Recon Bowie since March 2002? This was the last posting I could find.
4. I found a Recon Bowie in a camping store in Jerusalem. Going price was about $400. Government customs have clamped down on importing blades over 10 inches. Got to get it while it's still hot!
