RECON SCOUT O1 on sale ?

I'd doubt that. They sold me a SK-5 TM after I talked with them and asked them nicely to make sure they sent me an O-1, not an SK-5. They had a note on the receipt that there was no way to determine which was which and sent me what they had. It has an O-1 SKU but isn't marked like an O-1.

Good luck on that Scout in O-1. They haven't seen the post from the cold steel mod with the picture of O-1 knives marked as O-1. The one in the picture isn't marked either.

I am not sure that the 0-1 Recon Scout is shipping yet.
To my knowledge only the Trail Masters and a limited number of Kukris have shipped.
I will check for you and get back to you ASAP
All 0-1 knives are marked clearly on the blade...

The SKU may remain the same but all of the 0-1 knives are marked
Please ask the dealer to confirm before shipping.
 
I too am very anxiously awaiting the Recon Scout in O1. That may well be a favorite outdoor/ camping/ do-it-all knife. Love O1. I don't really know why. There are "better" super steels out there. Maybe it's the simplicity, mixed with a bit of nostalgia. I just love an outdoor camp knife in good, old fashion carbon steel. :)
 
What's the latest word on this? Has anyone purchased a Recon Scout in O1 yet?
 
I just wanted to bump this to the top for the Cold Steel mod instead of starting a new thread. Any updates on when O1 Recon Scouts will be available? Thanks
 
No word yet. I have several on back order and checked with CS at Blade.

Just talked with Cold Steel yesterday, and the 01 Recon Scouts have not been released yet. Still waiting. I'm sure CS Mod will let us know when they are shipping.
