Recon Scout San mai discontinued?

It seems that while everyone was excited with the 01 version coming out, CS discontinued
the San Mai version. Can't find them in stores anymore. I saw some on ebay looking for a
whopping $350 or so. Why did CS discontinue the san mai recon scout when they haven't
discontinued any other models in san mai?
