Recon XL Lock Rock

I bought a really nice Recon XL, but it has the tiniest bit of forward and back blade play. However, there are times that it locks up solid, and there is no blade play. Have you all had any similar issues? Did you find a way to resolve the problem? Thank you.
 
Maybe there is some trash in there somewhere, pocket lent or something, since the issue is not constant. Have you tried taking it apart and cleaning? It is so unusual for a triad to have play.
 
I've seen this before on a new knife. Cycling the action fixed the problem. It was probably debris or a burr preventing the lug from seating
deep enough.
 
few sr1s had a similar issue. take look at that thread. couple of the ideas got some of them fixed.

Yes and mine finally broke in. Keep using it and most likely yours will too.
