Reconditioning G10?

i just picked up a REKAT Pioneeer II in a trade and the G10 scales are kind of whitish. I cleaned it up as well as I could with a toothbrush and soap - but the scales just look kind of faded once dry.

Any tips?

EDIT:

I tried some militec - and it worked GREAT. I'll see how long it lasts - but it looks great - and the scales aren't oily/greasy.

Black leather dye. I found some at Walmart. Learned this trick from Sal on the Spyderco forum here. Made the G-10 on my Military look great.

When I clean out my AFCK, the G10 scales always come out whiteish. My solution is to wipe 'em with a cloth soaked in triflow. It's the only thing I use triflow for these days.

I'll try Militec-1 next time as that would get another spray can out of closet.
