Well, my friends I've given it considerable thought and I have decided to just keep on doing what I have always done………… and that is…..

To continue to respond to questions right here on the open forum giving my answers based on my personal experience, and what works for me. If I were to restrict the answers to just email or phone then I help one person at a time, but if it is on the open forum there is a chance that one question answered will help not only the original poster, but might also answer the same question for several others.

Now we all understand, I hope, that my answers do not represent the ONLY way to do things, they just represent the way I do things. My answers will always be based on quality, efficiency, and aesthetics, and in many cases (or most) the cost of doing things my way will have to subordinate to that quality, efficiency, and aesthetics.

You will have to be the sole judge is it's right for you.

Therefore it's back to business as usual for me.

Understand a few things before you take your ball and go home.

Just because someone disagrees with you it doesnt mean they hate you or the way you do things. You seem to take an opposing view as a slight on yourself, and then go forward with a demeaning response. Take the solvent thread for instance, Toluene is not something to be taken lightly by the neophyte, yet when those cautions were given you proceeded to say "Life is hard, its harder if your stupid" that is not a good response.

Not everyone is going to agree with you, not everyone is going to follow your way.

Taking every comment that doesnt fit your beliefs so personal is not good for you or the community.

If I am taking money out of your pocket by giving away tutorials I'd happily stop. You've made it clear that you dont like it. Just ask! I'll stop. Its that easy. The friction is causing me issues as well, its not worth it, honestly.

I'm not the only one noticing it, so it needs attention, lots of it. Agree to disagree is fine by me and we leave it at that.

You've got years more experience and more to share and my involvement is causing issues.

I will stop giving advice and tutorials. But will continue to moderate as is my job. Thats it.

I need the extra time anyhow, I've actually been able to catch up considerably the past few months after my wife's accident last fall and it feels good to do so. With school starting next week I'll not have the time to work on tutorials so its a good thing.

Please do stay Paul, they need you more than me.

Um, guys?!? I have no clue what is going on, just the bits in the frugal thread. But I sure hope that you guys get things sorted out. This section is so far actually the nicest Internet forum I have encountered so far and I hope it stays that way, meaning nobody has to agree with everything said, but we can get along.
I value both or opinions and posts here, so besides Paul being "famous", I can't and won't put one over the other as I have no personal connection to either of you.

So please stay and carry on helping and giving advice to youngsters like me, and above all please share your work us.
