Record price for Pakistani Bowie!!!!

These are the types of hacks that have almost ruined ebay ,sadly....
I got ripped a month or so ago on a Pakistani skinner lol , my fault though for not looking at it good enough.
What really sucks about ebay is all the hosebags selling absolute JUNK on there like Maxim.... Do a search on any knife keyword and youll have to filter thru all the Frost and Maxim garbage to get to the good stuff. :grumpy:

yeah, I think I gave up last time I looked, after paging through endless pages of pure shite for far too long

But the sh!t wouldnt be there if there werent rubes like this guy buying.

Too much money, too little sense imho.

I don't really have a problem with the people selling crap knives as such. If someone is selling a cheap knife, and advertises it as exactly what it is the buyer knows exactly what he is getting. No problem as far as I am concerned. There is a market for junk knives, and selling someone what they want is just how it works. As long as people buy junk knives there will be someone willing to make and sell them.

However advertising a cheap POS knife as a valuable collectors item I have a big problem with. It is deceptive at best, and more than likely just flat out lies.

But hey, look at that sheath. ;)
Any one know of a maker of a knife just like that, or at least very similar with good steel? I love the look and design of that knife. I bought one once (for like $12.00) just because I liked it so much. It feels great in the hand and would be a real workhorse. Most good bowies I've seen out there are more from a bowie as a weapon school than bowie as a tool school. If I could find one in 5160 or 1095, that would be my dream bowie. I have even considered comissioning a maker to do one with that as a model to work from.
