Recovered Traditional Knives

I have a few traditional knives that I was considering options of getting them recovered in a different material. I have one with very thick handled slipjoint with stag covers that I would love to change to a nice wood or mammoth cover.

I was hoping you could all share some nice photos of knives that have been recovered as well as who does the work. I have been having trouble searching for makers who do this.

I am new to collecting traditional knives so any input is greatly appreciated. I have searched for a related thread without luck, if this has been covered already and I missed the post, feel free to link it to me. Thanks in advance, I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

I have a budget lock back that needs new scales, so I'll be watching this thread! The knife is cheap but it would really shine with some nice wood or antler.

Here is a good thread for you to enjoy….

I have had knives recovered by Glennbad and also by Muskrat Man (just do an internet search to find him), both do great work.

Muskrat Man did this Queen for me a long time ago, with some Gabon ebony that I supplied:
