Recupero customized Commander

Have you seen this knife yet? I have e-mailed Recupero for price and information on having my own Commander modified. What do you think?

The Commander is gorgeous. Recupero does excellent work.

I wonder though if the scales are slippery or have as much grip as the original?

I just got an e-mail from Frank. It will cost $235.00 for all the work shown on the Commander, with a 3-4 week turn around.

Joe, not only have I seen those pics, but I took them!

That is my knife and indeed Frank does excellent work. Ed, while the handle is not as "grippy" as the G10 it isn't really slippery either. In fact, the handle is more comfy now since it is rounded and a bit thicker and not flat like the G10.
