Recurve damasteel fulltang, no wood, leather only...!

Here is something I have never done before, a knife without wood, bone or other "hard" material.

The damasteel is 7mm thick, but with the hollow grind, the holes and grind in the handle makes it quite light.

The braided leather that hold everything in place actually runs back and forth through the holes in the tang.
To keep it low profile and to prevent the handle from slipping on the tang.
The leather handle was trickier to do than it looks...
The handle has a lot of grip despite being rather narrow.

Wetshaped and highly molded sheath, with open spine ( have to stop making them soon )

Total length is 340mm, blade is 190mm.

What do you think...?

Sorry for the crappy pics.

Crappy pics? No way. Crystal clear to me.

I love this knife. It is completely unconventional from most skeleton knives and the workmanship is readily apparent. Your sheaths ALWAYS stop me dead. (How did Magnus' sheaths NOT make the sheath thread??  )

I can see how well the leather grip would feel. I would rather feel how it looks.

Thanks for throwing a curve ball into this forum. I love the variety!

 ...Beautiful! I really like it. Great looking, and so's that sheath! I like those pix, BTW, & will be back to stare at this knife some more all night. Very nicely done!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: ..."Speaks" to me... Talk about "Dressed to kill", or thrill! Classy setup. Leather & Damasteel, great together! Man, I love this piece.
