This is a style of blade I have been wanting try for a while and I finally got a chance to finish it and the sheath. It has a convex main and swedge grind. I made this one with a fairly large handle (for me) due to the request from several people. I will definetly be making more of this style in the future. The steel is L6 and the handle is padauk.

That mind curve of harpoon tip? together with wood handle (which wood is it?) and amazing work on the leather sheath!

What's the spec?

Looks like a very comfy skinner...

The wood is Padauk, the OAL is 10.5" and the blade is 5.25". It is very comfortable to hold, I'm really liking this handle shape.
 
When I saw the thread title I was like, fighting hunter? Then I saw it :) Looks like you nailed it!
