I have always loved tea, and noticed how many 1/2 gallon tea jugs I recycle every week. It's a lot, around ten every seven days. I lost my dog food scoop, which was just a plastic cup, and cut one of the jugs down to size. I've used some as anchors, some as planters, etc. I've made left over paracord ends into small keyring fobs for friends and family. Old pocket knife sheaths, that I don't use, for fishing kits etc. Like everyone else, Altoids tins are great to build a little kit. The Vic classic fits great in them. Inner paracord strands have worked great in the garden.

Dan Schectman has written in Backwoodsman that he likes to be frugal with everything in his "kit", except for knives. I have so many well made blades to play around with, but not a lot for my kit. I've decided to see what I can salvage or recycle. Right now, times are tough. My transmission went up, and I'm looking at a good size bill. So, saving money on my kit is even more of an issue now.

I like to recycle those Kindertoy plastic eggs.......they make great fishing bobbers or PJCB storage.....

When I quit smoking I used Commit Losenges. They come in these cool "PopPac" plastic containers.

I use one as a sewing kit and another as a fishing kit.
