red 194ot

Iv'e been collecting Schrades for a while now, and old timers for about 6 or 7 years, i got one today i've never seen, its a red 194ot,smooth red handles, old timer shield,but heres the strange part, the nail mark is way toward the tip of the blade,and the tang mark is unusual. Schrade over U.S.A over 194ot, most are marked Schrade over U.S.A 194ot. This knife is old and beat up its it is not an end of days knife. Anyone know anything,please share,thanks.

grey menace, that tang stamp and nail mark harken back to the brown box days, I believe the knives had a sticker on them that said "Lock Blade" or something to that effect. They are frequently sold on Ebay, or at least there were a bunch of them NIB not too long ago.. Not sure about those red handles though, do they still resemble the sawcut shape, or are they rounded?

Thanks for the info, much appreciated,the handles are smooth but still shaped like the cut delrin ones.
