I thought some of you might want to see a picture of the new Red Alox Farmers I just received, so I snapped one today. Here ya go...

I like it:thumbup: The red would do well if you dropped it out in the field/woods ect....

You know, I hang out over in the W&S sub forum, and I know they would like to see that one. The Farmer is very popular with most outdoor people.

That's a very nice pic. My Farmer came today and I just had to take a few with the flash, since it's dark out and I can't take advantage of natural lighting. Here's mine next to my early 80s-vintage Pioneer that's been my EDC for the past year, after having spent several years languishing in storage.

(Those are lighters attached to the knives, btw.)

I think I'll be carrying the Farmer a bit and giving my old Pioneer a well-earned break.
 
Very Nice Dave. I have some of those lighters and a few vintage Red Alox Vics myself..

All those pictures look great, but no matter how good they are, the Farmer (and all the red Alox models) look just so much better in person. The red Alox knives look classy AND outdoorsy...at least when they're new. If you want 'em to look good, don't carry them in the same pocket as your keys or other hard scratchy things. One solid and very useful knife!
