So I have wanted to get a knife that would pair up with the Rucki. When the Nuclear RatManDu was offered at the last Ganza, I knew this had to be it. But it needed some Red/Black G10 to really set it off. Thanks to our new little sweetheart, Poki, I was able to arrange this special request. Needless to say, it was worth the wait, and I love this set of knives. Don’t know if there is another Nuclear RatManDu like it, and I’m sure this set will be inseparable from me for a long time.
It has an O.A.L. of 10.375, Blade is 5.375, with a thickness of .160” and 9.0 oz.

I tried to get blue/black G10 on my RMD LE, but it was a No-Go.
However, I may not give up hope. Someday it very well may match my satin Waki and Bowie RMD.
 
Ha! Nice! Like Need2Know, I asked Amy-O if I could get different colored grips on my Bowie RMD, and she said it wasn't possible. :( I'm not really too disappointed, as the blue/black looks pretty sweet anyway, but I might have done something different given the choice.

All I want to know is what, exactly, did it take to bribe Pokey to get this done for you, hmm? :confused: That would be REALLY GOOD info to have for future reference, especially now that I have ordered my first real Busse blade. Amy-O just needed Clark bars and Coors Light, what exactly does it take to bribe Pokey??? :eek: :D :D :D ;)

This was done for me while correcting a VERY minor issue that I had. They went above and beyond to be sure I was a happy customer.
I probably shouldn't have let on that I have a special relationship with Pokey .:D

I have never seen that Nuclear RMD or that color. It is awesome! I guess I was not paying attention and cannot even remember when these were offered. I do seem to remember the Clip Point Bowie however, I can't remember why I did not try and get one. Were they offered right before Christmas? That may explain it if they were :confused:
 
Yep, the nuked RMD was sold during the Fall Knoboganzaa when the Bowie was as well.
 
How do you like the RMD for Kali? It seems like a good size and weight for for most of the exercises. What is the best all around knife for your Kali system?

I am very happy with this for Kali. The knife feels light and neutral in hand, allowing for changes in direction. Not too big, but long enough to reach vitals on a stab. I have sharpened it to easily cut paper and would hate to be the one trying to block it. I have been searching for a Busse Kin that can cut in both directions, and this is IT! I don't know what the best knife is for Kali is, but for me, right now, this is definitely it. It's kind of funny, but a lot of Kali practitioners are not big on quality knives and may only carry a folder. The traditional knives are generally of poor quality.
