I made this red bone trapper slip joint. The blade is 2 7/8" long flat ground AEB-L at 62c with liquid nitrogen quench and given a 600 grit hand sanded finish.

The scales are red jigged bone and the liners are brass mill relieved.

The bolsters, shield and pins are stainless steel. The shield is pinned.

Walk and talk is snappy and with a half stop is level in all 3 positions.

Thanks for looking

Looks great! I'm really liking the width and profile of your handles. I'm not typically a fan a red, but the color in that bone with the darker area in the jiggs? (lol) looks very good.

C coldsteelburns thanks, red bone for me is my favorite and in fact most of my old case slipjoints are red bone. This jigged red bone was a special order and not available to the public. I am very lucky to have access to it.
