This blade has been sitting on the work bench staring at me. I've been staring back at it wondering what type of handle to give it. Finally settled on red bushwillow and bronze. The wood has a specific gravity similar to african blackwood but has more color in the grain. Thanks for looking.

That one's a looker. Nice shape overall but I really like what you've done with the shaping of the guard.

Nice work. Handle looks very comfortable and secure. The wood sounds very interesting. Like i4Marc, I particularly like your shaping of the guard. Beautiful smooth curve and trim rather than blocky as in many knives.

Thanks wdtorque. Thanks Bob, we have some interesting wood here in South Africa. I am working on a bowie with sandpaper bush burl for the handle - hope to do the wood justice as it is quite special.
