Red Deer, Alberta, Canada goes Radioactive!

Just picked up my Steel Heart -E at the post office this morning....

My initial impressions:

The SH-E is a very cleanly done, elegantly simple design. The asymmetric grind is different from what I am normally used to, but will be looking forward with interest and anticipation as to its performance. The ergometric handle - very comfortable, fits my hand like it was custom fitted. I had ordered the tan micarta handle, but wound up with the black. Not a problem. No question that the ergometric handle is a significant improvement in the handle design as previously noted by others.

The sheath - well made. Kydex liner not overly tight, but not loose either.

In summary, a good, well designed knife from Jerry Busse and Co. Thank you Jerry! To Andy Prisco and Sharper Instinct, thank you for the good service and hope to order again some time in the future.

Now to have some fun with this knife and carve the turkey at this weekend's Thanksgiving dinner.

Kozack,
You come from the land of some serious game. Especially DEER. You are a lucky man. New York’s season for bow starts next week. Maybe I could head up your way? Any way congrats on the Steel Heart. Andy and Myself got together today to do some bow shooting and to test out some knives. Needless to say you will be extremely impressed. Take care, congrats again, and good hunting.

WTF, thank you. Yes, I am fortunate to live in what would be considered a hunter's paradise.

If interested, check out some deer magazines (BuckMasters is good, Russ Thornberry should give you a few leads) and do not forget to bring your Busse Knives with you(obligatory Busse knife content) should you come up to Canada.

Will certainly ensure the SH-E will get a good workout.

Thank you again, good hunting, and take care.
