I'm new to the forum........but wanted to give a shout out to OKC for building one of the most beautiful folders I own........from the scales to the blade........easy open...strong lock up.....easy to place a fine edge......just impressive to look at......thanks........did I say inexpensive.......very inexpensive for what you receive. Anyways.....it's just one of those knives that makes you look twice. Now I keep looking over at their sp line and drool over which one to get.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
 
I recently got the RJF-1911 myself, debated buying one with all the stuff going on with Will Hayden, but as I understand as of now, he's been completely legally separated from Red Jacket Firearms, and technically he's not been proven guilty of anything yet, so I went ahead and ordered one.



It's a solid, well made knife, the handle looks a little funky at first, but it is actually pretty comfortable, and you get an angle on the thumb stud, that just lets you rocket the blade out, seriously fast. Lockup on mine is perfect, zero play and the blade was razor sharp.

Overall quality is as good as the RAT and Utilitac II knives, and I'd be surprised if they aren't made by the same factory in Taiwan as them.

Aside from the controversy, the knife itself is well worth the money.

It didn't contribute any thing if use but it sure made me giggle a little. Especially since they close to me and I used to ride with the current owner.

Yeah, its crazy all that going on. Ive been to that dudes shop and actually spoken with him.

It did contribute some comedic entertainment which is what i was hoping for. Lighten up dude!
