Welp, here's my collection at this point. (Do I get 0.5 pts each toward Order of KAI for the Red Volt II and the Red Oso Sweet? :D)

And still need to add red Shallot and Chive, just not thrilled with non-KAI logo sprawled all over 'em... jimw451 had an excellent recommendation for me, but can't find anyone in Austin to do duracoat for the scales.

Would also like to add a red Breakout and a red Bump, though.

I admit the D.W.O. and Little Lockback are evidence of purely habitual behavior. Maybe a red 1/2 ton will enter the collection by that same door.

Ok, I need to find one of those red volts...

According to KAI, they made a special small run last Fall for Mckinney Saw & Cycle in Ruston, LA. KAI thinks MSC sold out however.
I bought mine NIB from a guy who lived in LA.
FWIW, it feels great - similar build and action as the Oso, but much thicker lock - am really tickled with it.

Thanks for he info! I actually have a black on black volt that I love (torsion bar broke though, and the previous owner lock-tighten the thing shut forever so can't fix it lol)

Yes some of those are definitely worth .5 points! Does the red volt have a red backspacer like the red oso does?
As for duracoat maybe talk to some car autobody shops?

Hi bad_juju! Yes the Volt has a backspacer - that's it on the left and the Oso Sweet on the right. A lot of similarities, but a beefier product.

Cool deal! I liked the red oso I had just never used it. It was my favorite of the overseas Kershaws.

I agree. I was very lucky to find someone willing to part with a NIB Oso and just stumbled on the Volt. I can't believe how much I like the Volt.

Okay, I think I've got a solid lead for you on the color change. Can't PM you. Email me. :)

I got a red Kershaw knife I don't really want. If you pay the shipping, its yours. Its like new. Only one small mark on the blade.

I think you would like it :)

I don't know what model it is. Searched eBay and Google images last night and couldn't find it. I got it from eBay as new, but it does have a small weird mark on the blade. Will take some pics soon.
